Breeding & Conditioning Facilities

Clear Creek Ranch has well equipped raising facilities.

We start with the best pheasant, Chukar, and quail chicks and keep them in seperate, temperature regulated brooders until they are ready to be outside.  Each brooder is equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins to keep them wild.  The watering system includes a method to disperse necessary medications.  A variety of fresh high quality feed is acquired from a local  feed mill: Golden Oak Milling Company.

Human exposure is kept to a minimum to prevent imprinting of the birds.

Once they are of proper size the birds are moved to the flight pens—with natural coveying ground growth—where they grow to full size and develop their flying abilities.

Our pheasants, Chukars, and quail, provide hunters with a good challenge.  Stock is usually on hand and ready to be delivered for special events and regular game preserve seasons.

We raise over seventy-five thousand birds each year.
